We are thrilled to introduce a new, long-awaited resource for our more than 7,000 dedicated volunteers across Texas! After years of planning and securing the necessary funding, we’re proud to announce the addition of a full-time employee whose primary focus will be the recruitment, retention, and recognition of our incredible volunteers. This new position is designed to be a central point of contact for all things related to volunteer experience, ensuring that we continue to grow and support the amazing individuals who make our programs possible.
Our new volunteer-focused leader will work closely with all of you to gather valuable input, form working groups, and initiate outreach activities aimed at enhancing your experience. From spotlighting outstanding contributions to providing coaching and support, this role is all about helping each volunteer thrive. We’re proud to offer this innovative resource within the FIRST community here in Texas, and we’re confident that it will further strengthen our shared mission of inspiring and empowering the next generation of STEM leaders.
