FIRST in Texas will be hosting a workshop to help students in its FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) program learn key skills in how to properly program their robot using the XRP robot. The XRP robot has been designed for learning about programming FRC robots.
All the same tools used for programming full-sized FRC robots can be used to program the XRP. The XRP comes with two drive motors with integrated wheel encoders. It also includes an IMU sensor that can be used for measuring headings and accelerations.
This one day, impactful session is open to any member of a FIRST Robotics Competition team in the San Antonio area. Box lunch and certificate of completion will be provided by FIRST in Texas.
Come refine your programming skills and network with others in your FIRST in Texas community.
*NOTE* We must have at least 10 students sign up for this class to continue.
