Volunteer Resources

It is the policy of FIRST in Texas that each adult (18+) working directly working with youth have a background screening.  FIRST in Texas accepts background checks conducted by FIRST (http://firstinspires.org) but also provides a FREE resource to have a check conducted by FIRST in Texas.

FIRST in Texas requires a records check of local, county, state, and federal records for convictions of offenses that prevent working with children as stipulated in the Texas Education Code regarding school teachers and volunteers.
